its been a week since i came bk fr the bz phuket trip.. came bk a few shades darker than before.. now im trying hard to "piao bai" to my original tone.. argh.. the phuket trip is bz like shit.. supposed to be 5 ppl working but end up 2 are running ard like mad women whereas the other 3 are sitting there enjoyin aircon and surfing net.. gns.. so much so for being helpful..
fr this trip i started to see the true colors of many ppl.. who are the ones who really will help out and who are the ones who only use their mouth to say only.. some ppl are juz so small air that he go around telling ppl a small error that he spotted, whereas he will nvr c all the other gd tings that u have done.. there is 1 who kp asking me to adjust the temperature of the meeting rm till i damn fedup, i talked 2 him damn loudly (dun care he is big shot or not) sayin the temperature has already been adjusted wat else does he want mi to do? kauz.. u cold then wear jacket la.. gns.. well, of cos there are other ppl who appreciate what u have done.. it really feels gd when ppl appreciate u.. :) sometimes just a pat on ur back sayin u have done well somehow or rather will brighten up ur day.. but on the other hand when some1 comes and harp on u by sayin "everything is gd today except the incident this morning".. wah lau.. so ji chou! tt day itself i alr got into an argument with him for tt incident & he still kp harping on it.. still can tel mi "i know u all bery tired but i'm also tired" gns.. we every nite work till late late, i tink they go drinking till wee hrs lo.. freakin spoil ppl's day..
anyway my entire 6 days there, i nvr had a decent meal.. most of the time was drinking much more than eating.. 1st day there i was dw with sore throat.. i called home n whined to my mummy told her i wanna go home.. haha.. tink she got a big shock cos her daughter nvr whines and its my 1st biz trip.. tink i was too heaty tt day esp with the 37degree stoop weather there tink i'll die of the heat if i stayed any longer.. tt nite i drank beer to cool myself, hehe.. somehow it did help to get rid of my sore throat.. lucky for mi if not i'll be even more grumpy with the sore throat throughout the trip.. my spore BDM intro mi to some colics and say "tis gal bery dangerous" kauz.. lydat intro mi lo.. got to see many ppl whom i only see in emails..
there is 1 aftn where we held the team building.. sad to say there were qte a few ppl injured.. tink it was too tough for them cos i see many of them panting aft some games.. mi n boss were bz takin photos while they were bz playin.. it was damn it hot! but its very funny seeing the big bosses really getting down to play the games.. so spontaneous! esp during tug-of-war, i really laugh till tummyache.. but i guess tug-of-war was the game tt "killed" many of them.. i got many feedback that i shd tk AGE into consideration as many of them are not young anymore! haha.. i get their point.. no more tug-of-war nx yr liao..
every nite aft the dinner (or shd i say drinks), we were back to work till like 2-3am.. i tink i only touched the bed for like 4hrs and its the start of another day of mad-ness.. got 1 colic ask mi if im scared cos i nvr share rm with any1.. i'm like i'll tell u tmr.. kauz.. i tot i wld be scared but ended up i knocked up almost immediately lo.. no time to be scared.. haha.. anyway the hotel room is bery nice.. i had a super queen size bed which is much comfy-er than the beds in the other hotels that i stayed in.. the hotel staff are qte nice.. esp the banquet manager alwax pop by and see if we managed to have our dinner cos we were alwax bz during dinners and all and seldom have time to eat.. the 4th day's dinner was the most jiat lat.. cos our distributors were there as well so a total of 220 ppl (180 staff + 40 distributors).. it was a total chaotic.. mi & boss just left our seats a while to chk on other tings and by the time we cm bk, only 1 seat is left.. i told boss to sit there i'll find another seat.. end up i was sitting with 1 table of pek peks! but almost all are familiar faces so not so bad la.. 1 of them asked mi to share the ginger sorbet with him which is so so so spicy tt i cant tahan i asked him to eat it himself.. gns.. all these ppl bully mi.. not gd.. almost all the ppl i noe, walk pass mi will say "cheers" kauz kp makin mi drink.. wanna reject oso cant.. but so far so gd, did not get drunk.. :p i didnt get to eat the dinner except for the soup so the banquet mgr actually asked mi n boss wat we wanna eat.. i said i wan ice-cream! hehe.. and he reali gave us ice-cream.. so nice lo~ but he's cute lo, serve us kopi + ice-cream + beer.. erm.. eat liao LS then nx day no nd work ar? haha.. boss hear mi say she laugh and ask mi dun be so "pai xi" so i :x
the nx day was mornin 5 concurrent meetings and aftn leisure activities (either spa, golf or sightseeing).. it was a chaotic mornin cos every1 is comin to u to ask for this and that until i had to shout at them to control the situation.. kauz make mi lose my image.. anyway mi n boss went sightseeing i.e. island hopping.. we had fun! tink aft so many days of hectic schedules tis is the only time we had fun lo.. mi was bz taking photos with my hp throughout the aftn.. we stopped at james bond island and took some photos.. 1 of the guys (the 1 who complaint abt the temperature) kept askin if wanna tk photos.. i kept tellg him NO! whereas other ppl ask mi i'll happily say ok! haha.. even my boss oso laugh lo.. aft tt we went to another island which i forgot the name liao.. its a bumpy ride over there but i reali enjoyed the sea breeze sittin at the frt of the speed boat.. chatting with boss and 2 taiwan biz dev mgr.. bumpy but full of laughter :) this island we went is damn nice.. i didnt tk photos cos i was bz picking seashells.. haha... the sand is so smooth, water so clear, when we alight fr the boat, the water is like thigh-deep.. wah lau.. but the feeling is so shiok! :)) how i wish i can stay there longer.. so many of them helped mi picked sea-shells! tt's the privilege of being the youngest! hehe.. & of cos i brot back some sand for gd fren and jie and pigsy.. oh yes, we had fresh oyster right off the rocks! at 1st i was still hesitating to eat anot, then when my BDMs started tellin mi how nice is it, i cant resist the temptation! its so fresh and sweet i ate qte a few.. yummy! 
when we went bk, we had to get ready for dinner with distributors at the outside restaurant.. u wont believe tt i had to wait till 9pm for the golfers to come bk lo.. boss went over with 1 grp of ppl 1st as they were getting impatient.. so i had to wait for the rest of the ppl.. while waiting, other colics (mostly ang mohs) saw mi and psycho mi to go drinking with them, i was tempted la, go out have fun who is not? but i had to work lo.. :( abt 915 then we set off.. n my coach was full of pek peks! lucky i had my disty director to shield mi fr the hungry and abt to get angry pek peks in the coach.. n of cos there is tis jap director there to kp mi company as well.. phew.. well well dinner started at abt 10pm.. so early i almost fainted fr hunger.. but the food is nicer than the hotel's.. aft givin out the golf prizes, dinner ended.. boss went to settle the bill and i was there with the big bosses.. they were drinking and so was i.. of all the nites, tt nite mi dranked the most.. i tot the nite will end when we were bk to the hotel.. but then when we reached the hotel, they were goin for drinks AGN & my jap director says "1 more drink".. (i was supposed 2 join my spore colics for drinks n snooker de lo) & his 1 more drink bcm like 1 more hr.. when we reach the lounge, i sneaked to find my colics to siam the drinkin.. hehe.. boss dunno went where so mi siam to find my colics at snooker.. aft a while the lounge close liao so we had to shift upstairs.. our jap director was a bit seh liao.. we were sittin at the sofa gettin cosy.. he started to doze off when the rest were drinkin, so i threw him a cushion and he reali hug it to slp.. haha.. so cute lo.. he can wake up and have a puff then go bk to slp agn.. and the nx day he simply forgot wat happened.. haha..
last day at phuket, i tot i can have more slp but some ppl early morn call n sms to wake mi.. angly de lo.. i came bk spore n scold ppl lo.. disrupt my slp nvr die b4.. anyway we went for massage.. shiok.. aft tt went to settle bills and end up we only had 30min to shop b4 we leave for the airport.. kauz, pathetic de lo, who wld believe 6days there only got 30min to shop.. anyway 5 of us took the same flight bk.. mi, boss, 1 spore GM, the jap director and another jap big boss.. we had a meal at the airport b4 boardin, i was damn hungly but my food came last.. angly lo.. when we finally touched dw spore, i was super slpy cos didnt reali slp well ma.. 2 of them had to trsf flight at spore airport.. mi disturbed the jap director, said he was snoring at the sofa nx to mi, he didnt believed mi till his jap colic agreed tt he reali did.. haha.. he only rem that i threw a cushion at him and then jokingly says it bcos i threw him a cushion tts y he slept so soundly.. so cute lo.. we bid our gd-bye aft tt..
this marks the end of the 1 wk torture.. reali learnt a lot fr this trip, altho tired but its an eye-opener for mi.. dunno will i be involved in nx yr's trip.. faintz.. beta not tink abt it..
